a broadcaster and club DJ and have been on 1Xtra since its launch in 2002. I currently present the mid-morning show which is also home of the 1xtra Live Lounge, but radio has always been a passion from a young age. As a kid I would listen to legends like Tim Westwood and Trevor Nelson, but also to a lot of local pirate DJs. I went on to study radio at college and had a college radio show that would broadcast during the lunch hour. The best parts of that show became my demo and when I heard that the BBC were launching a black music station when he applied. At the minute my show also includes the Live Lounge which allows me to interview some big stars like Jeremih, Trey Songz, Snoop Dog, 50 Cent, Eve and The Game as well as previously unheard talent he has also won a moba award.
