1.a) The characters appeal to the kids as the characters are made of Lego which is most kids favourite toy male and females.
1.b) The story appeals to the kids because the story is about somebody who is just a everybody person turn into a hero saving the day from the bad guy which is so simple and is why kids love it.
1.c) The settings appeal to the kids because the setting is completely made of Lego (kids favourite toy.) But there is a kid controlling everything basically being the kid watching it when they play with Lego and the dad telling him of for touching his stuff being relatable.
1.d) The theme appeals to the kid because the writing is very simple no big words and its very easy to understand what is happening unlike older movies where your not suppose to understand to the last bit.
2.a) The characters appeal to the parents cause some of them like 80s 90s spaceman can connect to them like an inside joke and remember their childhood.
2.b) The story appeals to the parents because there is a mum dad and son and the mum being stereotyped making food for the working man and his boy who have conflict being relatable.
2.c) The settings appeal to the parents, because the world is made of Lego with several things in the movie like the bad cop good cops bike that can be built remembering the parents of there childhood.
2.d) The theme appeal to the because the writing has a lot of inside jokes that the kids would miss like star wars the kid being so young may not even watch star wars or when batman hints he is an orphan because his parents died.
